1. RIGHT PRIORTITY
Luke 2: 42-51
Bible Study: Time alone with his father. I need to take care of my walk with God. My spiritual needs are a priority. It is my spiritual self care. Jesus prioritized spending time at the temple. He did not apologize for prioritizing his time at the Temple.
2. Drawing Strength
Luke 5:15-16
Prayer provides me the strength I need for effectively helping my loved ones. Jesus withdrew to pray often. He depended on prayer for his ministry.
3. Caring for people around you
Mark 6:30-32
Jesus taught his disciples the prioritize self-care even though people were coming to them with many needs. He made sure the disciples had rest and were refreshed.
4. Allow others to care for you
Mark 14: 3-9
Often it is hard to let others serve us. It takes humility to allow others to serve us. It builds connection.
